PetCare TrackerCaregivers and shift handoff
More people looking after the same pets? Keep them in the log and hand over with one message.
1Add caregivers
Settings → Caregivers (or Invite in the pet’s profile). Under Add someone type the name, choose Caregiver or View only and tap Add to household.
Nobody is e-mailed and no account is created – PetCare works on one phone and has no server to sync through.
2Family activity
Settings → Family activity feed shows what happened day by day – doses given or skipped, notes and handoffs. Needs attention at the top lists an overdue dose you can mark right there.
3Hand off the shift
In the activity feed tap On duty today. You see how many doses are done and how many are left. Pick who takes over under Hand off to, optionally Add a handoff note, and tap Hand off to ….
The handoff is logged in the feed and the share sheet opens with a ready message (“3 of 5 doses done, 2 left to give”) – send it by SMS, WhatsApp or anything else.
Tip: The button is available once there is at least one other person in the household.
